Salary : $24.00-27.61 hourly

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8a-4p

Position Summary : The Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring new and current employees receive the necessary training appropriate for their positions. Improves employees’ workplace performance in alliance with The Arc’s core values. The Training Coordinator is responsible for performing training needs assessments, scheduling training sessions, coordinating facilitators for live training, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date training records in the organization’s Learning Management System.

Essential Functions :

• Establishes and maintains a schedule of training in accordance with Federal, State, Agency, OQE, and all other required trainings
• Stays informed of changes to Federal, State, Agency, OQE, and all other required training.
• Evaluates training courses for incorporation of Adult Learning Theory concepts.
• Ensures ample trainers for each training, including creating and maintaining a schedule of trainers.
• Maintains Relias Learning Management System to ensure agency-wide employee training is current and compliant with Federal, State, Agency, OQE, and all other required standards.
• Assesses need for additional training sessions based on analysis of upcoming needs and coordinates scheduling with trainers accordingly.
• Audits training programs to ensure they are following appropriate regulatory requirements.
• Research alternative options and delivery methods for required training.
• Works to improve the training process with the goal of improving overall on time completion rate.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
