A company is looking for a Leave Specialist to manage employee leave programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and track all leave of absence requests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
Coordinate with HR, payroll, and management to ensure accurate leave tracking and pay continuation
Provide guidance on leave-related regulations and support employees with claim filings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted
SHRM-CP / PHR, SHRM-SCP / SPHR, or Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) certification desired
Minimum three years of direct experience administering leave programs, including FMLA and multi-state leave management
Experience with California, Washington, New York, and Massachusetts paid leave programs desired
Strong proficiency in Microsoft programs and various HRIS platforms
