Fork Truck Driver Production Assembler

We're looking for an experienced Fork Truck operator to take the lead in moving large, heavy, and high-value products throughout our shop and yard. In this role, 80% of your time will be spent on a forklift, safely handling oversized water control gates, raw materials, and other heavy loads. The remaining time will be spent assisting with light shop or assembly tasks as needed.

What You'll Do :

• Operate forklifts to transport large and heavy products between production, storage, and shipping areas.
• Load and unload trucks with oversized materials, ensuring secure handling at all times.
• Stage materials for assembly teams and move completed products to shipping.
• Perform precision moves with awkward or oversized loads in tight spaces.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and keep equipment in good working order.
• Assist with basic assembly tasks such as applying gaskets, fitting parts, or preparing materials.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and follow all safety procedures.
