Job Title :  Assembler – Crating & Packaging

Location : Poestenkill, NY (Troy area)

Pay Rate : $25.00 / hour to start (with potential for increases upon permanent hire)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8AM-4 : 30PM

Position Type : Full-time | Temp-to-Hire

About the Role

Adecco Staffing is currently seeking a qualified Assembler – Crating & Packaging professional for a growing company in Poestenkill, NY . This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong construction or mechanical background , experience working with hand tools, and the ability to interpret assembly drawings.

The position is temporary to start , with the potential to transition into a permanent role for those who demonstrate reliability, consistency, and strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities :

Build shipping crates and custom packaging for large-scale equipment

Read and follow assembly drawings and work order instructions

Assist with assembly work and support the engineering and production teams

Work with the Service Engineering department to troubleshoot and commission machine issues

Use a variety of specialized hand tools safely and efficiently

Ensure crating meets all quality and safety standards

Follow written instructions and safety guidelines in English

Qualifications :

3–5 years of hands-on experience in construction, production, or mechanical assembly

High school diploma or GED required

Military experience a plus

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions

Comfortable using a range of hand tools and working in a physical, active role

Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to quality work

Pay Details : $25.00 per hour
