Qualifications for Inpatient Therapist I

Pay : $29.25-$44.00

• Master's Degree Upon Hire
• LCSW or LPC in SD Upon Hire
• Addiction Counselor Trainee (ACT) status or currently in the state of practice Addiction Counselor trainee recognition status and obtainment of LAC within 3 years.

Qualifications for Inpatient Therapist II :

Pay : $30.75-$46.25

Qualifications for Inpatient Therapist III :

Pay : $ 32.25-$48.50

Qualifications for Inpatient Counselor :

Pay : $25.50-$38.25

A Brief Overview

Assists in coordinating, planning, implementing and facilitating programs and counseling services on an inpatient basis, and when needed, within the inpatient hospital setting and outpatient addiction recovery program. Responsibilities may include several of the following areas : individual, group and family counseling, Addiction Recovery Programs, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counseling, Critical Incident Stress Management, and other current and future groups / programs. All of these areas may involve providing assessments, facilitating treatment and crisis intervention of clientele affected by substance abuse, addiction, and dual diagnoses issues. As needed, will provide community / education services and some travel is occasionally required.
