job_description.job_card.job_descriptionFull-time, 1st shift : Monday-Friday, 11 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM Some weekend hours may be required (Saturday and Sunday) Approximately 8.5 hours per shift Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision Assist with prescription processing and data entry in outpatient settings Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure compliance with policies and regulations Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare team to optimize patient care Minimum 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in an outpatient setting PTCB or CPHT certification highly preferred; certification required within six months of starting Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication names, and dosage forms Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure Local candidates only, preferably within 30 minutes of the location or accessible via public transportation (parking is limited) Competitive salary range based on experience ($15-$18 per hour) Opportunity for contract-to-hire with career advancement potential Stable first-shift schedule supporting work-life balance
