Job Summary : Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered respiratory care within a supportive environment that upholds professional respiratory therapy standards and fosters relationship-based care. Care guidelines align with the AARC Code of Ethics, regional respiratory care practice acts, and evidence-based standards. Demonstrate expertise in respiratory therapy assessments, treatment modalities, life support certifications, critical thinking, and prioritization. Essential Responsibilities :
- Assessment : Conduct thorough age-specific assessments and reassessments. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather comprehensive medical histories. Document findings per unit policies.
- Diagnosis : Identify actual or potential physical, psychosocial, cultural, religious, safety, infection control, environmental, and educational needs. Prioritize care based on assessments and prepare patient and family education accordingly.
- Planning / Outcome : Work with healthcare teams to develop individualized care and education plans aimed at optimal outcomes. Adjust plans based on patient condition changes and input from patients and families.
- Implementation : Deliver age-appropriate care using evidence-based interventions tailored to diagnoses. Coordinate with community resources and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Evaluation : Assess the effectiveness of respiratory interventions and patient responses. Modify care plans as needed and evaluate patient and family understanding of education provided.

Education and Experience Required :
Graduate of a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program.Associate Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Licensure and Certifications :
Obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care within one year of hire and maintain active status.Hold active Respiratory Care Provider licensure from the relevant state health professions bureau.Work Shift : Third shift, part-time (24 hours weekly).
