The Director of Sales is responsible for driving all sales efforts at the Hampton Inn Prattville, ensuring the hotel meets and exceeds revenue goals across all market segments. This role requires a dynamic, hands-on leader who is passionate about relationship building, community engagement, and delivering strong business results.
The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and results-driven, with a solid understanding of the local corporate and leisure markets in the Montgomery / Prattville area.
Compensation : $65,000 - $75,000
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve the hotel’s revenue and occupancy goals.
- Prospect, qualify, and secure new business through proactive sales calls, networking, and partnerships.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and accounts to encourage repeat business.
- Actively participate in community organizations and local events to build awareness and drive new opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the General Manager and Hilton Revenue Management team to optimize rates, group blocks, and channel mix.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and marketing updates.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and hotel tours to showcase the property’s offerings.
- Oversee the planning and execution of group business and ensure seamless communication between sales and operations.
Qualifications :
2–4 years of hotel sales experience required (Hampton or Hilton brand experience preferred).Proven success in developing and maintaining corporate, group, and SMERF business.Strong knowledge of the local market and competition.Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Experience with Hilton sales systems (such as Delphi, R&I, or OnQ) preferred.Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, or related field preferred, but not required.About Company
