Farallon Consulting, L.L.C. has a full-time opening for a Senior Geologist II / Hydrogeologist in the Seattle area. This hybrid position may be based out of our Seattle or Bellevue, Washington offices.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a motivated and talented Geologist or Hydrogeologist to join our firm in one of our Seattle area offices. If you are looking to advance your career while working alongside industry experts, this opportunity is for you! You will be collaborating with colleagues from across our organization to provide environmental solutions to our clients’ environmental challenges.

You should be a self-starter and possess strong technical and writing skills to support a wide range of environmental projects. Our ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented, have excellent verbal communication skills, and a positive attitude.

What You Will Be Doing at Farallon

Core job responsibilities will include working with Farallon’s technical teams to support a broad range of projects that reflect Farallon’s core practices in contaminated site investigation and remediation, environmental due diligence, litigation support, and regulatory coordination. Work is often fast paced and requires a commitment to both quality and client service.

Salary

Our best estimate of the base salary range for this position, located in the Seattle, Washington area is $100,000 – $130,000. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Farallon reviews and updates salary ranges annually, and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Farallon’s total compensation package for our employee-owners.
