Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Patient Care Services located in Greater Sacramento. The Director of Patient Care Services will oversee the overall care provided to patients, direct and manage patient care operations, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. The role includes developing and implementing patient care programs, training and supervising staff, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care. The Director will also work closely with patients and families to ensure their needs and preferences are met with compassion and expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience as a hospice DPCS
• Knowledge of hospice regulations
• Proficiency in providing training to healthcare staff
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in hospice and palliative care is a must
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California
