Role Description

The Construction Technology Manager drives the evaluation, sourcing, development, and implementation of construction technology solutions to support operational excellence. This role goes beyond database administration - overseeing the full lifecycle of software systems used across the company. The Manager ensures technology initiatives align with construction workflows, integrate with existing platforms, and deliver measurable value.

While the focus is on construction software strategy and execution, this role remains deeply hands-on with SQL development and database optimization to maintain data accuracy, performance, and security across our platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with construction or enterprise software implementation, preferably within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Proven success sourcing and rolling out construction-focused technology (e.g., project management, estimating, scheduling, field collaboration tools).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL Server development and administration (T-SQL, query optimization, indexing strategies, performance tuning).
• Familiarity with integrating third-party and cloud-based construction applications (e.g., Procore, Vista, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and reporting methods.
• Proficiency with reporting tools (Crystal Reports, SSRS, or equivalent).
• Experience managing vendor relationships and leading cross-functional implementation projects.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server environments, Active Directory, and Office applications.
