Job Title : Senior IT Business Analyst

Location : Lake Forest, IL – Onsite interview required

Period : 11 / 18 / 2024 to 11 / 03 / 2025 (1 Year)

Hours / Week : 40 hours – Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half

Rate : $42 – $45 / hr

Contract Type : W2 only

Scope of Services :

The Senior IT Business Analyst will play a crucial role in creating, analyzing, and implementing electronic data interchange (EDI) systems and supporting processes for X12 and EDIFACT. The successful candidate will work closely with the EDI provider / vendor, coordinate EDI interface changes in the SAP system, and integrate with various platforms to drive and implement necessary changes. This position also includes supporting inventory management from an EDI perspective and overseeing existing EDI mapping configurations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Primary Liaison : Act as the main contact between IT and business areas, directly supporting assigned business units.
• EDI Implementation : Hands-on implementation of EDI messages and interfaces with systems like SAP.
• Project Support : Assist in department-level initiatives and provide support to Program or Project Managers for larger projects.
• Business Analysis : Collaborate with clients to understand business needs, develop business cases, and solve technology-related challenges.
• System Coordination : Work with teams managing SAP, Bizlink, Tracelink, SGTIN, Tibco, and warehouse management systems.
• Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements, developing business requirements, and business cases.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of project milestones, requirements, and solutions.

Key Requirements :

Experience with EDI messages like 850, 856, and SAP ERP systems.
