We are a long-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Ohio, known for producing specialized power components for various industries. Our team has roots dating back 100 years and continue to grow and evolve today. We are looking to add a Controller to the mixture.

Position Overview

The Controller will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and effective management of financial resources. This role is critical in providing financial insights and strategic support to drive business performance, particularly in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
• Implement and manage financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings.
• Assist in financial modeling and strategic planning activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering professional development and performance.
