Locum Tenens Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Opportunity (ASAP - Ongoing) We are seeking dedicated and experienced Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians or Pediatric Hospitalists for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Charles, MO. Job Details : Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing End Date : Ongoing Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (No Call) Shift Schedule : 9-hour shifts, primarily evening / night shifts (4 p.m. - 1 a.m.) Monthly Coverage : 15 shifts per month Practice Setting : Outpatient and inpatient services with no inpatient rounding required Location : Near Charles, MO Key Responsibilities : Patient Care : Manage 14-18 patients per shift in a fast-paced pediatric emergency department with 13 rooms and 3 hall beds. Emergency Procedures : Provide trauma care, procedural sedation, airway management, and other emergency procedures. Outpatient Focus : No inpatient rounding required; focus on pediatric emergency and hospitalist care. Collaborative Team : Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care for children in a supportive environment. Requirements : Board Certification : PEM fellowship-trained physicians preferred. Will consider board-certified pediatricians with ED experience (must have trauma, procedural sedation, airway management, and procedural experience). Certifications : PALS required for all providers. ATLS required unless PEM trained. Licensing : Active Missouri medical license required. EMR System : Experience with Epic is preferred. Credentialing Timeframe : Estimated at 60-90 days.
