As a Mechanical and Aerospace Systems Engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to shape sustainment and modification programs on a variety of aircraft systems, including identifying and supporting items critical to aircraft mission availability and improving lifecycle processes for aircraft systems and subsystems. Your customer will t rus t you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You Have :

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace or mechanical engineering
• Experience with manufacturing processes or materials science
• Knowledge of standards and regulations such as MIL-STD or ASME
• Knowledge of DoD sustainment and acquisition processes, Technical Data Package ( TDP ) creation, and DoD acquisition requirements generation
• Ability to review and understand technical drawings and identify critical characteristics
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for mechanical systems and components
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, resolve technical issues, and present to senior ranking offi cia ls
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Systems Engineering field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
