Role Purpose : Under general supervision, manages sales, support, and customer facing activities for a specific set of accounts. Main activity includes responsibility for direct sales, customer interactions, solution creation, new product releases, and delivering feedback to management. Prepares and delivers sales materials; attends exhibits and other promotional opportunities. Meets with customers face-to-face as required to close sales and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities :
- Carries out company sales strategy to achieve corporate goals.
- Manages sales efforts, negotiation, and monitoring of contracts / projects.
- Provides data to help form sales forecasting activities.
- Understand product portfolio from both a commercial and technical standpoint.
- Gives feedback on customer needs, product gaps, competition, and commercial positioning.
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
- Delivers sales materials and helps to exhibit and promote the company; prepares for and attends exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities.
- Sells to and maintains contact with assigned accounts.
- Gives feedback on items that can enhance business, customer satisfaction, and company success.
- Responds to inquiries and researches and resolves problems related to transactions; serves as liaison with other constituencies in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational issues.
- Maintains and monitors records and reports in Humanetics standard tools.
- Uses Salesforce and Syteline effectively to forecast and carry out business.
- Involves Customer Service and Service Engineers / Technicians as needed to resolve a customer issue.
- Escalates to management appropriately when commercial or technical issues cannot be effectively resolved.
- When required to meet deadlines and achieve customer satisfaction will help to deliver and carry out services to customers.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
