We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Kent, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing key financial processes, including cash applications, commercial collections, and billing activities. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounts receivable.

Responsibilities :

Accurately process and apply incoming payments to customer accounts.

Manage commercial collections to ensure timely resolution of outstanding invoices.

Prepare and issue billing statements while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Monitor cash activity and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.

Maintain detailed records of accounts receivable transactions for auditing purposes.

Collaborate with internal teams to address billing or payment-related issues.

Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports to track financial performance.

Identify opportunities for improving accounts receivable processes and implement solutions.

Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations during all transactions.

Communicate effectively with customers to address payment inquiries and resolve disputes.

Requirements :

Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.

Strong skills in cash applications and commercial collections.

Familiarity with billing functions and cash activity reconciliation.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to analyze financial data and generate accurate reports.

Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to financial transactions.
