We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis in Dallas, Texas . In this role, you will handle customer inquiries and purchase orders with precision while fostering strong relationships through exceptional service. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the electrical test and measuring instruments industry.
Responsibilities :
- Process customer purchase orders accurately and ensure timely entry into the company’s system.
- Coordinate with various internal teams, including sales, procurement, and logistics, to guarantee order fulfillment and prompt delivery.
- Address and resolve customer concerns related to order discrepancies, returns, and shipping delays with professionalism.
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, and order details in company databases.
- Acquire and apply technical knowledge of electrical test and measuring instruments to assist customers effectively.
- Recommend process improvements to streamline order management and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle email correspondence and multi-browser systems to manage customer accounts and inquiries efficiently.
- Support connectivity-related issues and troubleshoot customer concerns regarding technical products.
- Utilize tools such as QuickBooks and Microsoft 365 to manage and report customer data accurately.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment while adhering to company standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service, ideally within the technical or engineering sector.
- Familiarity with purchase order systems and customer relationship management tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of electrical test and measuring instruments or the willingness to learn technical product information.
- Proficiency with software tools such as QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, and customer account management platforms.
