We’re partnering with a school district in Cook County, IL to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher – Co-Teach Middle School for the 2025–2026 school year. This position will cover a maternity leave and may have an earlier start or later end date depending on district needs.

This is a full-time, in-person role supporting a co-teach classroom at the middle school level. You’ll collaborate closely with general education teachers to deliver differentiated instruction, support diverse learners, and create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Position Details :

Location : In-person, 8 : 15 am–3 : 30 pm

Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday

School Year : 2025 / 2026

Responsibilities :

Provide individualized instruction in a co-teaching environment.

Support students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction.

Implement and track progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Manage classroom behavior in a supportive way.

Collaborate with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams.

Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field.

Special Education Teaching Certification in Illinois.

Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education Endorsement.

Experience in special education or inclusive classroom settings.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
