Maintenance Technician
Indianapolis, IN | $30-35 / hr. | 1st shift & 3rd shift | 2-2-3 schedule
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plastics Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in muliple of our locations Indianapolis, IN, Anderson, IN OR Franklin, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plastic manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plastic manufacturing machinery.
- Blow and Injection molding machine repair experience
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs.You should be proficient in :
