The Opportunity :

The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is seeking an empathetic, detail-oriented Pre-litigation Assistant for our Personal Injury team. The perfect candidate for this position has a service mindset and meticulous approach to case management . This position is full-time, Monday through Friday 8 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm, at our beautiful offices located at the Irvine Spectrum. Experience in a legal case management is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Create relationships with clients and guide them through the case process from intake to settlement
• Monitor cases by verifying client attendance; observing, evaluating and communicating treatments and responses; advocating for needed services and entitlements; obtaining additional resources; intervening in crisis; providing the utmost professional support
• Maintain client records by reviewing case notes, logging events and progress
• Communicates client progress by conducting weekly interdisciplinary meetings and evaluations
• Request medical records; mail, scan and track government claim forms; and manage the resolution of property damage claims
• Draft legal documents such as letters of representation and preservation of evidence
• Ensure client file is complete for demand and potential litigation
• Maintain client confidence by keeping client / attorney information confidential
