LanceSoft is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in John Day, Oregon. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Speech Language Pathologist Discipline : Therapy Start Date : 11 / 02 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Position Summary : Seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitation services across outpatient, inpatient, and home health / hospice settings. This is a unique opportunity to help grow and support SLP services in Grant County while working closely with occupational and physical therapists, nursing staff, and home health aides. In this role, you will provide one-on-one therapy to patients, with protected time allocated for documentation. Our home health / hospice program offers access to a fleet of vehicles available to part-time and full-time staff, supporting flexible and effective patient care delivery in the community. We foster a collaborative interdisciplinary team approach to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across all rehabilitation programs. Key Responsibilities : Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, breathing, oral / facial musculature, and swallowing disorders. Deliver therapy services per physician orders across outpatient, inpatient, and home health / hospice settings. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient care plans. Maintain timely, thorough, and accurate documentation in accordance with BMHD guidelines. Participate in ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary team meetings. Contribute to the growth and accessibility of SLP services in the Grant County region. Qualifications : Required : Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing with the State of Oregon Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) Experience or clinical education across mixed settings : outpatient, inpatient, and home health / hospice Strong passion for patient care and growing rehabilitation services Preferred : Working experience in home health, hospital inpatient, and outpatient rehabilitation settings Why LanceSoft?
