Job Summary

Traffic Control Technicians help manage vehicular movement through construction zones by performing traffic control duties listed below. They ensure traffic safety and flow within work zones.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway maintenance tasks in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, company policies, and safety guidelines.
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices, signs, and lights.
• Manage maintenance of traffic activities, including detours and lane closures.
• Coordinate with on-site client representatives and officials.
• Load / unload equipment and deliver / pick up from job sites.
• If licensed, operate company vehicles following safety standards.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role involves outdoor work, often in extreme weather, requiring bending, lifting, climbing, and working with heavy equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have good vision and hearing to detect hazards and communicate effectively.
