This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new packaging market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes.

You will serve as the single point of contact in procurement for local business leaders. In this role, you also manage interactions between business units or spend areas and stakeholders at the local level, collaborate with global / regional spend areas, business unit leads and across manufacturing, supply chain and commercial business stakeholders, and ensure the local implementation of regional or global projects.

How you will contribute :

You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting "make or buy" analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

As the single point of contact, you will support the interactions between business units or spend areas, business unit stakeholders and specific project teams. In addition, you will deliver on the procurement process through effective management of spend, take the lead in problem solving for supply and service issues, own the full sourcing activity for a local spend in partnership with regional sourcing teams, ensure regulatory compliance for all processes in scope, and manage local implementationincluding service delivery, productivity and cash mobilizationof regional or global projects and agreements.

What you need to know about this position :

All packaging materials in scope, including but not limited to flexibles, corrugate, paper, and film. This role is to support all North America Venture companies. Non-venture brands are out of scope.

Education / Certifications : Bachelor's Degree

Travel requirements : 10% travel domestic travel

Work schedule : Monday-Friday

Hybrid work schedule : 3 days in office, 2 days remote

The base salary range for this position is $95,100 to $130,800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
