Peak Project Manager
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of various resort construction projects. This role involves full lifecycle project managementfrom planning and permitting through execution and closeout. The Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the company and external stakeholders, including contractors, utility companies, and local and regional government agencies.
Required :
- General knowledge of all aspects of construction and building trades
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict timelines and budget constraints
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, and permitting processes Ability to work with little supervision and within a team setting
- Experience working with County officials, departments, engineers, architects and building vendors
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft
- Knowledge of accounting systems, budgeting and P&L accountability
Preferred :
Current Contractor or Building Trade license5+ years of construction management experience in commercial or resort / hospitality construction.Experience, education or on the job training related to renewable energyAgree to take and pass the VA Class A Contractor exam if requestedTypical Schedule :
Days : Monday Friday, Weekends and Holidays as needed
Hours : 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM. Additional and weekend hours as needed
Core Responsibilities :
Manage / Supervise construction projects to ensure on time and on budget completionSolicit bids from contractors and in-house departments for new construction, renovation and renewable energy projectsPerform quantity takeoffs and manpower / resource development for new, renovation and renewable energy construction projectsCreate job budgets for new, renovation and renewable energy construction projects and submit to General Manager for final discussion and approvalResearch and obtain bids for construction projects as directed by the General ManagerWork with COO, CFO, Corporate Attorneys and General Manager as needed to perform project evaluations and feasibility studies and review all bids for sameAward contracts when approved to include preparation of all subcontract documents and maintenance of Subcontractor Certificate of Insurance filesCreate and provide subcontractor contact information to the General ManagerSchedule and supervise general and / or subcontractors as needed for the ProjectsCreate construction schedule with lead times for ordering with input from General Manager, Design & Furnishing Manager and distribute as neededCreate, collect and track all construction change ordersMaintain and track job budgetsProof invoices against contracts and code for payment; ensure accuracy and satisfactory quality.Create and maintain specifications for biddingFill out and obtain permits as requestedFocus : Tasks and Duties :
