A-V Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior broadcast engineer with deep expertise in broadcast systems and IP-based equipment, including uncompressed and compressed video formats and multicast networking. As a key member of our Systems Engineering & Support group, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the core broadcast infrastructure and architecture at our Midtown campos, as well as providing remote support to other buildings. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless broadcast operations, especially during live events, by addressing and resolving complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, support, and troubleshoot broadcast systems and IP-based equipment, including production routers, multiviewers, production switchers, IP codecs, and network switches.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex technical issues to maintain operational standards and maximize uptime.
• Support live production environments, including control rooms, the event spaces.
• Collaborate with remote manufacture engineers, production teams, IT, operations, and internal customers / vendors.
• Install and configure equipment for content acquisition and distribution.
• Configure and maintain critical on-air systems to ensure reliable broadcast delivery.
• Lead software upgrades and system expansions to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
• Analyze and resolve problems in both software and hardware-based systems.
• Develop and maintain procedural documentation for system operations and troubleshooting.
• Train team members, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
