Carpenter Foreman
Seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead and support rough carpentry operations on a high-profile healthcare construction project at Cape Canaveral Hospital. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong past experience in commercial carpentry and proven leadership capabilities in managing crews and delivering quality work on schedule.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a rough carpentry crew (typically 3+ team members).
Oversee the installation of temporary window protection and other rough carpentry tasks.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and construction documents.
Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.
Monitor progress and provide daily updates to site leadership.
Minimum 8+ years of commercial carpentry experience, with at least 4+ years in a foreman or supervisory role on new construction projects.
Strong knowledge of rough carpentry techniques including framing, concrete formwork, and temporary installations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
Experience managing small crews and coordinating tasks efficiently.
Must possess basic PPE and personal carpentry tools.
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and quality.
Prior experience in healthcare construction environments.
Valid Scissor Lift and Fall Protection certifications.
Familiarity with finish carpentry, drywall, and trim work is a plus.
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
