The Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time (9-month) position as Lecturer in Educational Psychology and Foundations beginning January 2026. Responsibilities include teaching five course sections per semester in educational psychology, human growth and development, introduction to education, and other educational foundations areas as needed.
Required qualifications include a master’s degree in education from an accredited institution, a minimum of 18 graduate credits in educational psychology, and a minimum of three years of experience teaching students in U.S. PK-12 schools. Candidates must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, model outstanding instruction, and inspire undergraduate students considering careers in education. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. or ABD in educational psychology, educational foundations or closely related field, prior experience teaching preservice educators at the university level, as well as evidence of outstanding teaching in PK-12 schools.
