Account Executive- GovEd
The Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers or partners with the objective of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals. Responsibilities include developing a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceed quota, developing and communicating accurate sales forecasting, proactively initiating contact with potential customers, collaborating with company resources to develop and maintain pipeline, taking proactive measures to streamline and improve account management and the sales process, partnering with sales solution engineers in the development of software demonstrations, recording all customer account information in the CRM, understanding best practices and market trends, pursuing opportunities for company expansion, engaging company specialist and support resources, assisting with determining the viability of Request for Proposal (RFP) requests, attending and contributing to trade shows, developing the closing plan for accounts, and engaging internal leadership to lead negotiation and contracting process.
Basic qualifications include an associate's degree or equivalent experience, experience as an account manager, demonstrated knowledge of sales in relevant technology solution or assigned industry, proficiency in opportunity management and account planning tools, Microsoft Windows and Office proficiency, strong ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others, good oral and written communications skills, highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking, self-motivated with the ability to manage work independently to completion, strong collaboration skills, and good negotiating and influencing skills. Up to 50% travel time is required.
Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements : base salary range of $92,000-$139,000 and eligible for benefits and variable compensation.
