Job Summary :
As a Business Architect – Major Accounts at iBase-t, you will partner with executives and operational leaders in major aerospace and defense organizations to define, implement, and realize their digital transformation strategies. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will co-develop strategic roadmaps that align iBase-t’s solutions with customer business objectives, ensuring measurable value, adoption, and long-term success. In addition to guiding strategy, this role has a strong focus on account growth by identifying and driving opportunities to expand iBase-t’s footprint within key accounts. This is a billable consulting role.
Essential Functions :
Customer Relationship & Strategic Advisory
- Serve as a primary strategic advisor for assigned major accounts, building strong executive and operational relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business objectives, challenges, and operational requirements.
- Establish trusted-advisor relationships at all levels of the customer organization.
Account Growth & Expansion
Partner with license sales to identify and execute on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within major accounts.Align iBase-t’s product capabilities with evolving customer needs to support growth.Proactively uncover new business areas where iBase-t can deliver value.Support development of executive-level business cases for expansion initiatives.Business Architecture, Road mapping & Value Realization
Co-develop strategic roadmaps with customers that align iBase-t solutions to long-term business goals, digital transformation initiatives, and operational milestones.Translate complex business requirements into solution strategies and actionable plans.Facilitate executive workshops and alignment sessions to validate direction and prioritize initiatives.Define and measure business outcomes achieved through solution implementation.Account Health & Retention
Monitor account health to ensure sustained value delivery and customer satisfaction.Lead executive business reviews, ensuring alignment on progress against the strategic roadmap.Drive renewals by demonstrating value achieved and future growth potential.Internal Advocacy & Collaboration
Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product strategy and services delivery.Work cross-functionally with product management, services, and support teams to address customer needs.Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, playbooks, and best practices for customer engagement.Requirements :
5+ years of experience in enterprise software, consulting, or business architecture roles.Proven experience working with large, strategic accounts in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing.Required : Aerospace manufacturing and operations experience, with the ability to translate industry knowledge into actionable solution strategies.Strong facilitation skills with executive presence and credibility.Ability to connect business requirements to technology capabilities and drive adoption.Track record of influencing account growth, expansions, or renewals in enterprise accounts.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.Success Metrics :
