The department of Athletics at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Assistant Payroll Specialist.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Part-Time Payroll Specialist to manage and execute payroll processes for student workers, work study student workers, temporary employees, game workers, camp workers, and sporadic workers. The Payroll Specialist will ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time, in compliance with company policies and federal / state regulations. This role will also support the HR and Finance teams in payroll-related tasks, ensuring the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy. The position will report to the Associate Athletics Director- Human Resources.
