job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel. Assist visitors and employees by providing information or guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site policies. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least one year of security-related experience is required. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Professional - Tech Campus Patrol
As a Security Professional - Tech Campus Patrol in Pasadena, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the site, and respond to situations as they arise. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
