Overview

Associate - Recognition Programs FT (RAFB) (30478) at Goodwill Industries of San Antonio. This position supports evaluating and processing requests for Awards and Decorations, runs annual boards for the Air Force Special Trophies and Awards program, handles requests for Non-Combat Campaign credit, responds to inquiries, and prepares Memorialization packages. The role supports the organization's mission to help change lives through the power of work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and respond to requests for Awards and Decorations from various sources including Congressional offices, the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC), and the Air Force Board of Correction of Military Records (BCMR).
• Process requests and mail out Medals to veterans.
• Evaluate and respond to Standard Form 813 (non-combat campaign) requests.
• Provide processing support for the Special Trophies and Awards program.
• Process High Level Decoration Requests.
• Process Memorialization requests.
• Execute and support the Air Force level Unit Awards program.
• Maintain the Records Management program.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to questions in a positive, professional, and friendly manner.
