The Impact You'll Make

The Customer Quality (PPAP) Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities related to customer Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions. This includes capturing customer PPAP requirements, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of documentation, and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver all required documents and samples to the customer. The role supports the organization's objective of meeting customer expectations for product quality, compliance, and delivery timelines.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Being part of a New Product and Process Development Project Team to ensure Danfoss Product Development Process (PDP) is followed and performing activities in order to provide Project Team with required deliverables
• Change control - After End of Design Phase (Milestone #3) is passed - Review and agree on Change Requests related activities established for suppliers, engineering and operations before signed by Quality Manager
• Waiver management - After End of Design Phase (Milestone #3) is passed - Review and agree on Waivers related activities established for suppliers, engineering and operations before signed by Quality Manager
• Develop and maintain documentation and tools required by our Quality Management System in an area of responsibility. Assure continuous improvement and standardization (in compliance with IATF 16949 Requirements).
• Perform Manufacturing Process Audits according to an Audit plan and as required by New Product Development (NPD) process and when needed (including Significant Production Run or Run@Rate audit).
• Allocation of work for the PPAP Technicians, providing daily morning Team meetings driving accountability amongst the team. Request resource flexing as needed to meet the customer due dates and expectations.
• Conduct training sessions for internal teams to ensure awareness and adherence to customer-specific requirements and standards
