Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Physical Therapist is needed to provide specialized therapeutic services within a K-12 school setting in Indianapolis, IN, supporting students across multiple educational levels. This contract position spans the school year, offering a flexible schedule to acmodate daily needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver physical therapy services to students based on individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education requirements.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and coordinate care.
- Assist with equipment management and ensure pliance with school and healthcare guidelines.
Qualifications and Desired Experience :
Licensed Physical Therapist with appropriate credentials to practice in Indiana.Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.Strong knowledge of developmental and therapeutic strategies relevant to school-aged children.Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.Effective munication skills for engaging with students, families, and staff.Position Details :
