Skilled Trades Specialists is seeking quality Industrial Painters with Industrial Painting experience for a local fabrication shop. These positions are on 2nd shift which runs from 3 : 00 PM to Midnight.

If you do not have experience painting in a Fab Shop / Industrial setting, please do not apply.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
  • Apply paint using various methods such as spraying
  • Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
  • Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools
  • Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear
  • Ensure quality control by inspecting finished work for defects or imperfections
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications :

  • Experience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of machining, welding, and auto painting techniques is a plus
  • Ability to operate a crane for lifting and moving large objects
  • Familiarity with Fabrication Shop operations and inventory management
  • Proficient in using hand tools to perform tasks such as sanding or masking
  • Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
