Behavioral Health Admissions Coordinator, SUD and Mental Health

Full-Time | Remote

ONLY CANDIDATES WITH MENTAL HEALTH, SUD EXPERIENCE AS AN ADMISSSIONS COORDINATOR WILL BE CONSIDERED

Must reside in the following States : CA, NV, NY, NJ, AL, TX, WI, MN

Healthcare Recruiters is actively hiring experienced Behavioral Health or SUD Admissions Coordinators to join a mission-driven, nationally recognized treatment provider. This is a clinical admissions role, not just inbound / outbound calling.

QUALIFICATIONS – PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE THE EXPERIENCE

  • Admissions Expertise : 3+ years in Admissions for SUD / mental health services
  • Remote Work Experience : 1+ year successfully working from home in a structured role
  • Clinical Knowledge : Solid understanding of addiction, recovery, and mental health concepts
  • Tech-Savvy : Familiar with Salesforce or similar CRM / database platforms
  • Insurance Acumen : Comfortable reviewing insurance benefits and discussing financial options with clients and families

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the first line of contact for individuals seeking treatment—offering compassionate, informative support
  • Conduct initial screenings to determine program fit and refer to appropriate services
  • Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage and costs in a clear, sensitive manner
  • Collaborate with billing to collect payments and secure service authorizations
  • Accurately document all client communications and steps in CRM
  • Meet established KPIs and participate in daily and weekly team meetings
