Job Description

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for performing manufacturing activities, including the production and inspection of products to ensure they meet customer requirements. This role involves simple cable assembly and connector operations to build high-quality products

Responsibilities

• Performs manufacturing activities including the production and inspection of product to ensure it meets customer requirements.
• The Manufacturing Associate will perform simple cable assembly and connector operations to build high-quality products.
• Convert raw materials into finished product
• Build product to standard rate
• Reads job order for product specifications
• Complete in-process inspections
• Interface with computer software to find documents and complete data entry.
• Builds simple point-to-point cables following drawings and instructions to a high level of quality and productivity
• Demonstrates proper use of basic hand tools : soldering gun, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, chop saw, rulers, microscope / magnifier
• Completes all necessary paperwork relating to the building of assemblies
• Depending on skills the person could be working in the assembly department or UTiFLEX department. UTiFlex is more so working on machines and supporting parts of the cable (taping, wrapping) and the employee is on their feet frequently

Essential Skills

Hours : Monday-Friday (some Saturdays / Sundays)

1st shift : 6 : 30am-3 : 30pm (must be ok with some OT starting at 4 : 15am)

2nd shift : 2 : 45pm-11 : 15pm (must be ok with some OT after until 1 : 15am)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 / hr.
