AppleTree Staffing is looking for a CNC Programmer for our client in Indianapolis! This is a full-time Direct Hire position.

This role involves everything from setup to operation, producing precision parts, selecting tools, monitoring machinery, inspecting finished products, and leading test or first runs of new programs.

Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills independently.
• Retrieve and load CNC programs for part / job operations.
• Review all documentation to ensure revisions match and address discrepancies with supervisors or engineering.
• Select and set up tooling and fixtures as required.
• Edit CNC programs as needed based on material, tooling, or conditions.
• Translate tasks into G & M Code commands.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure products meet specifications before approving for production.
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness in line with 5S standards.
• Participate in crane training, rigging, and inspections.
• Communicate daily with team leads, supervisors, engineering, and maintenance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Sandvik Coromant Academy (Metal Cutting Technology)
