Senior Business Systems Analyst

The Senior Business Systems Analyst analyzes business and information needs to design optimal systems solutions. Working under minimal supervision, the analyst develops solutions that meet business needs and align with the organization's overall information systems architecture. The role also recommends improvements to existing IT systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

• Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducts requirement gathering, and defines scope and objectives of each project.
• Recommends solutions or improvements to business processes that can be achieved through new technology or by repurposing existing technology.
• Translates business requirements into application requirements and collaborates with the team to ensure successful application deployment.
• Engages client teams, explains moderately complex initiatives, and addresses client concerns.
• Estimates costs of system solutions and prepares project plans to aid decisions on project prioritization and IT resource allocation.
• Prepares and maintains technical documentation to support system users and facilitate ongoing operation, maintenance, and development.
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals.
