A company is looking for an Overdose Helpline Operator, General Internal Medicine (per diem).

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls and provide immediate guidance on overdose recognition and response

Connect callers with local resources and support services for substance use treatment

Document call interactions and collaborate with emergency responders and healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

Relevant lived experience with overdose, harm reduction, or substance use preferred

Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations with empathy and professionalism

Strong commitment to treating all callers with respect and without judgment

Comfortable using helpline software and digital communication platforms

Adherence to confidentiality policies regarding caller information
