We're looking for a highly detail-oriented Packaging Production Artist to support our high-volume packaging workflow. This is a remote, full-time freelance position (40 hours / week) for an initial 3-month engagement, with the possibility of extension.
You're someone who thrives in production, loves the process, and understands the importance of precision in packaging design. You'll work alongside a team of strong designers and be responsible for preparing clean, accurate files for print-primarily cardboard-based packaging for international and direct-to-consumer (DTC) markets.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and finalize dielines and mechanicals for a wide range of packaging formats :
- DTC boxes
- Belly bands
- Hangtags
- Specialty boxes for Asia and other international markets
- Ensure all production files meet print specifications and brand standards.
- Maintain consistency and precision across high-volume SKUs.
- Work closely with design and production teams to set up packaging files correctly—no detail is too small.
- Support the transition to Figma for select digital asset needs.
Ideal Candidate
3+ years of experience in packaging production, with a strong portfolio of box and dieline work.Deep understanding of how to set up production-ready files for print.Passion for production and meticulous attention to detail—you find satisfaction in getting every line, bleed, and fold just right.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output environment.Clear communicator who collaborates well with designers and cross-functional teams.Tools & Skills
