Job Description

T itle : Senior Accountant (manufacturing experience preferred)

Salary : $80,000 to $95,000 annually

Location : Wickliffe, OH

Schedule : 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday

Reports To : Corporate Controller

R esponsibilities

  • Maintain capital expenditure records, budgets, and analyze plant assets.
  • Assist managers with cost issues and scrap costs.
  • Manage financial planning and cost.
  • Analyze and report on manufacturing performance and variances.
  • Reconcile monthly inter-company activity between all locations.
  • Process monthly journal entries and assist in the preparation of monthly financials for location.
  • Process daily reporting for management and as needed.
  • Direct annual physical inventory at year end and assists in annual audits.
  • Oversee accounts payable and customer invoicing.

Q ualifications

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of accounting and GAAP.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Cost Accounting.
  • Expert knowledge of the set up and operation of ERP systems.
  • Experience in manufacturing strongly preferred, but not required
  • Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations.
  • Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed.
  • Understand and support of company policies and procedures.
  • Safety conscious behavior.
