At Alpha, we believe that traditional schooling isn't the only path to success. Our K-2 team coaches students to master core academics in just two hours a day using AI-powered platforms. Your job is to help each student build the habits, confidence, and mindset they need to thrive.

IMPORTANT NOTE : This is an in-person role located on-site in Orange County or San Francisco, CA.

What You Will Be Doing

• Guiding students during the 2-Hour Learning block, helping them set goals, stay on task, and use tech tools effectively.
• Supporting reading habits and routines by reinforcing skills introduced by Reading Specialists.
• Coaching emotional regulation, resilience, and peer collaboration with consistent structure and warmth.
• Tracking student progress and needs, flagging issues early, and adjusting strategies in collaboration with your team.
• Creating a classroom culture that feels structured, playful, and personal—like summer camp with high expectations.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The role is on an independent contractor basis with Crossover as the Contractor of Record. The compensation level is $60 USD / hour, equating to $120,000 USD / year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Pay is weekly. For more details, visit www.crossover.com / help-and-faqs.
