Job Summary :
The Senior Mechanical Engineer is a licensed professional engineer responsible for leading technical aspects of engineering projects, specifically the design of HVAC Systems. This role involves providing expert-level technical guidance, ensuring that designs meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. The Senior Engineer I oversees the technical development of projects, mentoring junior staff, and serving as a subject matter expert in the field.
Primary Essential Functions :
- Lead the development of engineering designs for complex projects, providing technical oversight and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams, reviewing drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure that designs are feasible, accurate, and compliant.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering systems into architectural or construction projects, ensuring seamless coordination with other design disciplines.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering professional development within the team.
- Conduct quality control reviews at key project stages, ensuring that all deliverables meet internal and client standards for accuracy and technical precision.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing expert technical input and ensuring that client expectations are met.
- Oversee construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals, conducting site visits, and resolving technical issues during construction.

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.7-10 years of experience in engineering design and project management.Preferred
Experience leading large or complex engineering projects.Physical Requirements :
Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, telephones, and printers.Occasional light physical activity such as walking, standing, or carrying materials (up to 25 lbs.).Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and through written communication.Equal Opportunity Statement
