We are seeking an experienced attorney with significant litigation experience to join a seasoned team representing clients in general liability, construction-related disputes, transportation, and trucking matters . This team is dedicated to mentorship, professional development, and advancing the skills of its attorneys.
Key Responsibilities :
Independently manage a caseload involving insurance defense, general liability, auto / transportation liability, and New York Labor Law construction matters.Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners on complex and high-value litigation projects.Conduct court appearances, depositions, and motion practice.Provide regular, timely updates and strategic advice to clients.Requirements :
JD from an ABA-accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.8+ years of substantial litigation experience.Experience with insurance defense, premises liability, and general liability matters.First and / or second chair trial experience strongly preferred.Advanced understanding of New York Labor Law (§§200, 240, 241) is desirable.Experience with OSHA proceedings and regulatory compliance is a plus.Background in a Corporation Counsel or District Attorney's Office is advantageous.Strong business judgment, organizational skills, and familiarity with legal technology tools.Employment, Education & Labor – Associate AttorneyExperience : 2–5 years
