VDI ENGINEER w / ACTIVE TS / SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Overview

NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a VDI Engineer to support a Federal Program in Springfield, VA . This is a direct-hire opportunity with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator. Outstanding compensation and benefits package. Due to the nature of the work, an active TS / SCI Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems utilizing both on-premises and cloud-based hosting technologies
• Analyze requirements and system architectures to develop system requirements specifications and resulting design plans
• Administer, operate, manage and maintain components for on-premises and cloud-based virtualized systems
• Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and / or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and / or clients
• Provide Tier 3 support for O&M and engineer activities
• Oversee and participated in several upgrades of Citrix applications
• Worked across teams to aid in implementing several methods for virtual application delivery to include AppV, AppVolumes, XenApp, SCCM
• Continuous troubleshooting of network and security issues that affect the VDI user experience
• Aided in the effort to upgrade all AppVolumes Server infrastructure to the latest version while maintaining availability
