Journeyman Industrial Electrician

The Journeyman Electrician will install, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including electrical panels, lighting, motor controls, and conveyor systems in Industrial Water / Wastewater and Oil & Gas. In addition, this position will be familiar with installing power supply wiring and troubleshooting types of electrical components in Industrial settings.

What You Will Be Doing :

  • Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on small oil and gas construction projects such as well pads, compressor stations, and pump jacks.
  • Bend, thread, and install various types of conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC-coated) in accordance with project specifications and NEC standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure safe and timely project execution.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and execute repairs or adjustments based on field conditions.
  • Participate in commissioning and startup of systems on smaller oil and gas construction projects.
  • Coordinate with procurement or material handling for field parts and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure installations are performed to code and client standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades in operating facilities.
  • Support the integration and wiring of PLCs and VFDs.
  • Install and terminate motor starters, control panels, transformers, lighting systems, and instrumentation devices.

    • Your Skills and Qualifications :

  • Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License is required.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • 5+ years' experience as an electrician; extensive experience in Industrial Settings such as, Water / Wastewater and Oil & Gas.
  • Hands-on experience with small construction projects, including new well pad builds or facility upgrades.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specifications.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
  • Bend and Install Rigid conduit.
  • Understanding of Instrumentation devices and completing terminations.
  • Motor terminations.
  • Preference will be given to those with experience calibrating and commissioning instruments.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
