Maintenance Electrician (Midland)

Opportunity Snapshot :

Compensation : $35-45 / hour, depending on experience

Location : Midland, TX

Work Schedule : M-F (10+ hours)

Assignment Duration : 6 months+

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of and experience working with motor control centers safely and effectively
• Knowledge of and experience working with medium voltage equipment and motors safely and effectively
• Knowledge of or experience working at compressor stations in electrical construction, maintenance, and repair
• Process controls and tubing experience is preferred
• Heat trace installation, repair, and maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of A / C and D / C circuits, as well as electrical theory, ladder logic, read electrical schematics, electrical devices and apparatuses
• Knowledge of proper power and control troubleshooting (pump panels, instrument devices, relays, breakers, transformers single and three phase, motors etc.)
• Knowledge of overhead power line and troubleshooting transformer sizing and wiring, fuse coordination is a plus
• Knowledge of VFD and Soft start devices, operation, and components is a plus but not a requirement
• Will have to be available for call out rotations
• Must have knowledge of meters and how to take measurements safely and correctly
