Position : AI Automation Developer, Mortgage Lending

Location : Irvine CA, Hybrid or 100% remote

Job Summary :

  • You will design, build, and deploy intelligent automation solutions across the mortgage lifecycle.
  • You will be at the forefront of implementing GenAI-powered agents, orchestrating process workflows using AWS Step Functions, and leveraging Amazon Bedrock to build scalable, cloud-native automation systems.
  • You'll work alongside a passionate team focused on transforming traditional processes into seamless, intelligent experiences.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • AI Agent Development
  • Design and implement autonomous and semi-autonomous agents (Agentic workflows) that interact with internal systems and users across the mortgage value chain.
  • Build robust, context-aware AI agents capable of handling document analysis, decision support, data extraction, and customer engagement.
  • GenAI & Bedrock Implementation
  • Leverage Amazon Bedrock and other large foundation models to build, fine-tune, and deploy generative AI capabilities.
  • Integrate custom and pre-trained LLMs to drive automation in document classification, summarization, intelligent routing, and dynamic content generation.
  • Workflow Orchestration & Integration
  • Architect cloud-based process flows using AWS Step Functions, integrating GenAI components, APIs, and mortgage software platforms (e.g., LOS, CRM, POS).
  • Automate multistep business logic and exception handling with serverless functions (Lambda) and event-driven triggers.

    • Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of professional experience in AI application development, automation engineering, or full-stack cloud engineering.
  • Proven hands-on experience with :
  • AWS Step Functions , Lambda, S3, and event-driven architecture.
  • Agentic frameworks for building intelligent task-planning and decision-making agents.
  • Amazon Bedrock , SageMaker, and GenAI models (Claude, Nova, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of Python and relevant AI / ML libraries (LangChain, Transformers, boto3, etc.).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud-native integrations, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with mortgage workflows or fintech automation is a strong plus.
